If you grew up on Guitar Hero and Rock Band, you know the feeling: the notes roll toward you, you hit them on time, the combo climbs, the crowd is with you until you miss the solo. Our Band Sucks brings that to the phone in your pocket, free and in the browser, and it brings the band too: guitar, drums, keys and vocals, one player each.
It's made for thumbs, not for a plastic guitar. Each instrument has its own mechanic on the touch screen, tuned so an Expert chart is hard and an Easy one is a warm-up.
What carries over
Notes on a highway
Guitar notes slide down three strings; keys fall down lanes. Hit the line on time, hold the long ones.
Combos and scores
Every hit builds the combo, every miss breaks it. The score screen tells you exactly where the solo went wrong.
Four difficulties
Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, chosen per player. Expert is genuinely mean.
The full band
Like Rock Band: drums, guitar, keys and vocals at once, each on their own phone, each with their own part of the song.

For Rock Band and Fortnite Festival fans
The part of Rock Band that's hard to replace is the band itself: four people, four parts, one song. That's exactly the shape of a Party room here. And the part of Fortnite Festival that people like, hopping between instruments, is what Madness mode does on purpose: your instrument switches mid-song, and Idol mode hands you a new one every song until someone takes the crown.
What you won't find is the licensed catalogue. The ten songs are originals written for the game, about the daily grind: lost keys, laundry, the stove. They're built to be played, with real drum, guitar, keys and vocal parts for each phone.

Does it have real songs?
It has ten original songs made for the game, not licensed hits. Each has a real part for every instrument.
Can I use a guitar controller?
No. It's played with thumbs on the touch screen: tap, swipe, hold and drag.
Is there a drum part?
Yes. Drums are the Drum Kit: dots drop onto the drums and cymbals, you hit them on time, rolls included.

Both, and tablets. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
