A game like Fortnite Festival on your phone, no install, no console
A four-piece band, a notes highway, a difficulty per player. In the phone's browser, free, in thirty seconds.
The best part of Fortnite Festival is the Main Stage: four friends, four parts of the same song, everyone trying not to be the one who drops the combo. Our Band Sucks is that part, and only that part, built for phones. One player hosts a room, three more join with a code, each phone becomes an instrument, and the song starts on all of them at once.
There's nothing to install and nothing to buy. It's a web page: open it on any phone or tablet and you're on stage. The songs are originals written for the game, with a real part for every instrument.
What you'll recognise
A band of four
Drums, guitar, keys and vocals, one player each, on the same song at the same time. Each phone shows its own part.
A notes highway
Guitar notes slide down three strings, keys fall down lanes, drum dots land on the kit. Hit the line on time, hold the long ones.
Difficulty per player
Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, chosen by each player. Your friend on Expert and you on Easy play the same song together.
Combos and a score screen
Every hit builds the combo, every miss breaks it. The score screen shows where the solo went wrong, and a highlight reel for the band.

Two things Festival doesn't do
Madness mode
Your instrument switches mid-song. SWITCH! Drums, then keys, then vocals, on the same track. Nobody settles in.
Idol mode
Four songs, a new instrument for you in each one, and the most points takes the crown. A game night with a winner.
When Festival is still the right call
If you want the real songs, a big screen and a controller, Festival is the better night. Our Band Sucks is for the moment Festival can't cover: four people with phones, nothing installed, two minutes before the food arrives.
Questions, answered badly
Does it have real songs like Festival?
No. Ten original songs made for the game, about the daily grind: lost keys, laundry, the stove. Each has a real part for every instrument.
Do I need Fortnite or an Epic account?
No. No account of any kind. Open the link on a phone and play.
Can we play on a TV or a console?
No. It's played with thumbs on phones and tablets. Every player is on their own phone.
How many players?
One to four. Solo mode for one; a Party room for up to 4 phones, the host included.
Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no shop, no pass.

Your band sucks?
Go prove it.
